Hampton by Hilton Bath City
"The room was very clean and roomy. I loved the tile shower and how hot the water was. The front desk staff was very helpful and cheerful. As were the people that cleaned up everyones breakfast dishes. The breakfast itself was really great with a selection of eggs, meat, mushrooms (that I loved) waffles, yougurt fruit and breads. I looked forward to it each morning. No idea about the parking since I took a train to Bath. It's also incredibly well situated to the city center."
Apex City of Bath Hotel
"Great twin room, with a fantastic bathroom and very comfy beds. Our only disappointment was finding out the swim/sauna area was closed, despite us having a 2hr session booked for it."
Village Hotel Bristol
"No healthy food after 9pm S no where to walk to get a sandwich. I don't want to order junk food online to deliver . Kitchen could have made me a sandwich salad etc but no. Daft"
Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel
"Beautiful hotel, very grand decor, and smells amazing like a spa! Perfect location, right next to the cathedral and good for exploring the city. Very convenient parking underneath the hotel, with a cheaper rate for guests. I’ve seen a few bad reviews on the breakfast, but personally we had no issues, quite a standard hotel buffet breakfast that had everything we would want, no complaints. Served in the Miller and Carter restaurant onsite, very nice. We did have an issue with loud noise, as there were renovations taking place in the hotel during our stay. However, when we spoke to reception about this they were extremely helpful (and friendly and polite), and did everything they could to improve our situation, including moving us to two other rooms. All the rooms we saw during our stay were beautiful, clean, and very good sizes. And the final one was very quiet! Can’t fault the staff, they did everything they could, and must have had more complaints, so were dealing with it very well. It wouldn’t stop us staying at the hotel again, everything else was lovely and very high standard."
Village Hotel Swindon
"Clean hotel with helpful staff & good gym. Only issue was the bar / pub that was bright, garish & just for those drinking lager & watching football"
Mollie's Bristol
"Modern, clean, convenient and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay at Mollie’s again for business purposes."
The Gainsborough Bath Spa
"I really enjoyed my stay at The Gainsborough. You honestly couldn't ask for a better location. It's just a block from the square and an easy 10 min walk from Bath Spa train station, so getting around the city was effortless. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The one small downside of being so central was some noise, though that was probably due to where my room was located. If you're a light sleeper, it may be worth requesting a quieter room. The spa was the highlight. It was absolutely wonderful and a perfect way to unwind after exploring Bath. Overall, a lovely stay, and I'd happily come back."
De Vere Cotswold Water Park
"The hotel is very nice, room clean with a lovely view of the lake. Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."

- Book for the cheapest times: Chippenham offers affordable travel options, particularly during January, February, and November when hotel rates could drop to lower prices. For a comprehensive experience of the town’s rich history and cultural heritage—featuring landmarks like charming castles, smalltown festivals, and picturesque gardens—a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This budget-friendly destination is great value for money, perfect for those travelling on a budget who wish to explore its romantic, business, family-friendly, and countryside attractions.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For Chippenham hotels, you may discover attractive options by visiting the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. If you're planning a spontaneous break, the Last-Minute Deals area could offer opportunities to secure a discounted stay as your travel date approaches. Furthermore, using the Smart Shopping tool available via the app, travellers can compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring they’re more likely to see a favourable option if rooms become available or prices drop unexpectedly.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Chippenham hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels can offer a more personalised touch and sometimes better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears higher, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more appealing option.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For those seeking more affordable options, consider hotels situated in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to your intended destinations. You might also explore independent hotels located further out, which are usually likely to be more affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
