"Overall, we had a very good experience at the hotel. The public spaces are beautiful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great though because cruise lines use the hotel, the breakfast area can be extremely crowded and a little chaotic when these travelers try to have breakfast at the same time. We did find that housekeeping was not well organized. The housekeepers would leave cleaning supplies in our room on occasion and once did not make up our room. We would probably not go back to the hotel again."

"We were a bit unlucky that we visited Paris at the height of a heatwave in May. With temperatures at 32C outside, our top floor flat was often 36C inside. We were glad of the portable AC unit and the fans. Still, the flat was very very warm. I would not stay here in the summer. The flat is SMALL. We knew this when we booked, but the mezzanine bedroom has barely enough space for adult to crawl on all-fours. We didn't mind too much, but be aware that this is indeed tiny. The downstairs portion of the flat was excellent. Lots of clever storage for keeping things out of the way. Was lovely to have a little kitchen area for coffee in the mornings. But I wouldn't cook an entire meal here, especially in the heat! We loved being right in middle of Le Marais. The green courtyards were a lovely respite from the busy city. We felt very safe in this room, and there was no loud city noise to speak of. I would stay here again in Spring/Autumn. But, like most of Europe, not set up for the increasingly warm summers."

"This is a fairly good alternative for a single or couple who doesn’t look for luxury. It is a bare bones property. The pros: it’s in a location with two useful Metro lines close by, and is on a fairly inactive short street between two busy neighborhoods. There are ample bistros and restaurants with real Parisians rather than tourists. The cons: the ad implies that they speak English, but I had to rely on my high school French; the housekeeping is poor, only coming after you return from a day of sightseeing, then only making the bed but never changing the sheets; the breakfast is mid, and served in a tiny room that becomes claustrophobic with several guests eating at once. For a lower priced property it’s fine. For tourists who want a level of service and luxury, they might be disappointed."

"This is an old, run-down hotel that looks NOTHING like the pics. It is not in a good area (we had to be there for work) so we did not expect the Ritz, but it was Really BAD. Our room was not ready when we arrived, so we PAID, checked in, and left our bags. When we returned a few hours later, the man at reception could not even find our reservation! We gave our names, passports, and even the room number we were told we'd get, but it still took him 15 minutes to find the room we ALREADY PAID FOR. Then he rolled out someone else's luggage, because he couldn't find ours! Each bag is numbered and tagged, so this carelessness is inexcusable. Also, there is not enough hot water for 2 people to take a shower after a 15 hour flight, nor do they have ice (!) bc they lost the recipe. TRULY AWFUL - you will do better to stay in a hostel."
