Learn more about Decatur
Beneath the shade of ancient oaks, this Atlanta suburb feels like a small town that time forgot, yet somehow stayed perfectly hip. Decatur Square buzzes with indie shops and farm-to-table restaurants where chefs know farmers by name. Music lovers flock to Eddie's Attic, where many famous singer-songwriters played before they were famous. The historic courthouse anchors a city centre that hosts quirky festivals throughout the year. Oakhurst Park offers green respite, and three MARTA stations make car-free exploration of Atlanta proper remarkably painless. The pace here runs delightfully slower than Atlanta's metropolitan rush.

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and facility was very clean. Its location is outstanding. I did have to pay $15 a day for a parking spot for my car. Weight room had good equipment, free weights, and stretching equipment. The floor in the weight room was uncomfortable and not easy to lay on or kneel while stretching. I was there for a week and there was not daily fresh sheets, towels or cleaning. The services were adequate but not 5 star."

This duration allows you to discover affordable dining options, explore fascinating museums, and enjoy live music, making your trip great value for money. Additionally, you can partake in family-friendly festivals and visit charming cafes and shops, ensuring a rich and diverse cultural experience without stretching your budget.

Furthermore, you’re more likely to see flash sales by enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, so if rooms become available or prices drop unexpectedly, you could find the perfect booking opportunity.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Decatur hotel. For those in search of a unique experience, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised touch and occasionally provide better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Decatur's outstanding public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less populated neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money.
