I had a room for 4 including 2 teenagers. 2 single beds were actually queen or king size, much bigger than thought.
Small living room area with sofa was perfect for midnight snacks.
The room came with a humidifier, perfect for winter.
The simple breakfast was not at all simple, much more than hoped for. My 2 kids were allowed to eat as well (many others charged extra).
Perfect room for a family of 4.
Greater value than expected.
Fantastic deal!

For those travelling on a budget, staying for at least 1 to 2 days ensures great value for money, allowing ample time to visit key landmarks including temples, monuments, castles, museums, and historical attractions. Although hotel prices may drop during these months, it is advisable to book early to secure the best deals.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover attractive Wakayama hotel deals by exploring the Dealsopens in new window section on Hotels.com. For last-minute travel, check the Last-Minute Deals to find discounted hotels as your departure nears. Additionally, the Hotels.com app features Smart Shopping , a comparison tool that may help you review hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see opportunities to save. Enable email alerts or push notifications for timely updates on flash sales and availability, so you can secure a last-minute retreat to Wakayama.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Wakayama hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised touch and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates that could help you find a better deal.
Consider your location: Remaining close to main attractions or city centres can offer convenience, though it usually comes with higher costs. For more affordable rates, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to your planned destinations. You might also explore independent hotels further afield, which can provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
