We had a wonderful stay at Elevate Ella! The location is perfect, with amazing views that make the stay truly special. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax and unwind. The pool is lovely and the perfect spot for some afternoon relaxation while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was another highlight, with something different each day and a great mix of local and Western options. There was plenty of variety, and everything we tried was delicious. Overall, the combination of the beautiful views, perfect location, spacious rooms, relaxing pool, varied breakfast, and warm hospitality made our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Ella!

Bel hôtel sur les hauteurs. Si vous venez de faire plusieurs randonnées il y a plusieurs marches à monter avant d’accéder à votre chambre. Le petit dej est correcte, choix restent limité. Bémol : plusieurs coupures d’électricité survenus en pleine nuit faisant sursauter, car on a l’impression que quelqu’un essaie de rentrer dans la chambre. autant dire que mon repos n’a été que partiel Autre point négatif les remontées d’odeur d’égouts dans la chambre, doux rappel des transports parisien. Le personnel est serviable poli et gentil

They really go above and beyond to make your stay excellent. The property has no reviews because it’s a new opening, but the room are spacious, the view is great and the bed very comfy. Make sure to dine at their restaurant, the food is delicious!

We arrived around 6.30pm during a crazy storm, the down pour was full on. The signs could be clearer, our driver struggled to get up the steep hill so we walked with our bags. Staff were great, had dinner in the room and cocktails, tasted great. Room was nice with great views. We would happily stay here again.

A beautiful new boutique hotel featuring sustainable rock-stone architecture designed by award-winning architect Palinda Kannangara. The property has a modern, minimalist, and zen-like aesthetic, with grey-toned interiors that evoke the signature style of Tadao Ando. Our room was located at the highest point of the property, offering stunning panoramic views of the Ella Gap. The trade-off, however, is the considerable number of steps required to reach the room from the lobby, which may be challenging for some guests. Upon check-in, we encountered some issues with the Wi-Fi in our assigned room, but the hotel staff responded promptly and offered us an alternative room, which we appreciated. The hotel also features a lovely outdoor saltwater pool and is conveniently located within easy reach of the town centre. Breakfast was included and showcased traditional Sri Lankan flavours — which was served near the pool. Overall, a stylish and tranquil retreat with spectacular views, thoughtful service, and a distinctive architectural character.

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en gastvrij. Erg behulpzaam. De kamers zijn ook erg fijn met een mooi uitzicht! Daarnaast is er een verwarmd zwembad met de mogelijkheid om een cocktail te drinken zonder het zwembad te verlaten.

An excellent new hotel with superb rooms (room 6 for three). Great heated pool and good value food and drink (swim up bar). Not an issue for us but you'll need to deal with steps to stay here. As you may expect halfway up a hillside. Sensational views btw

Høj waow faktor og i gåafstand til Ella by med masser af restauranter og caféer. Personalet var super hjælpsomme, men nogle af faciliteterne var varmende. Fx gik morgenmad fra buffet til forudbestemt tallerkenanretning og Spa personalet var på ferie. En del larm fra musik om aftenen. Grundet værelsernes konstruktion ikke muligt at lukke det ordentligt ude. Er ikke egnet for gangbesværede

Helt nytt og fresht hotell i en utrolig gøy by i hjerte av Sri Lanka. Super utsikt mot fjell, litt byliv og skogen. Vennlig personale, god frokost. Hotellet ligger jo på toppen av en ganske bratt bakke og en kan ha problemer med å bli kjørt opp dersom bilen ikke er av beste kvalitet. Uansett, anbefaler Elevate Elle på det varmeste, dette blir et utrolig bra destinasjon i tiden fremover!

We had a great stay at Elevate Ella Resort and Spa. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning mountain views and a very nice pool area. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay.

The location and design of the hotel is great. It has been opened only few months ago but the finishings are very poor and already now the walls are scratched and furniture damaged. There is a working table in the room but no chair. Definitely not a hotel for people with walking difficulties, many stairs, poorly lighted in the dark and no elevator.
