The Leela Mumbai
"Excellent service. From the concierge to housekeeping, guest needs are met efficiently. Rooms are well appointed and breakfast is always a good balance of hot entrees and a variety of fruits and cereals."
Niranta Airport Transit Hotel & Lounge Terminal 2 Arrivals
"We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The check-in was quick and efficient, and the food at the restaurant was very good. The staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. A special mention to Duty Manager Haneef, who went out of his way to assist my mother, who uses a wheelchair. His kindness, care, and personal attention were truly appreciated and made our stay much more comfortable. The only downside was the soundproofing between the rooms, as we could quite clearly hear noise from the next room. Improving this would make the overall experience even better. Overall, a very good experience, especially thanks to the wonderful staff and exceptional service from Haneef. Highly recommended."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Mumbai
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Mumbai is between June and August, when hotel prices are typically lower. For an affordable and enriching experience, it's recommended to stay for at least 3 to 4 days to fully explore the city's historical and cultural landmarks. During your visit, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of local temples, indulge in shopping experiences, relax at charming cafes, and appreciate the natural beauty of gardens and the sea. Additionally, the city offers opportunities for excursions, visits to the zoo, and delightful dining options, all of which provide great value for money.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover enticing last-minute deals to Mumbai, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may find appealing discounts on hotels as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com could keep you informed about flash sales and exclusive promotions, ensuring you don't miss opportunities to save. Additionally, utilise Smart Shopping , a handy comparison tool within the app, to help you compare hotel prices and amenities effectively. You'll be notified if rooms become available or prices drop, making it easier to secure your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year. Being flexible with your dates may help you save on your stay in a Mumbai hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and, at times, may offer better value. When booking with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average, and if it appears higher, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels nearer to the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, yet with Mumbai's outstanding public transport links, you may find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that is still well-connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known neighbouring towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
