Queens Hotel Cheltenham

Queens Hotel Cheltenham

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel makes a spectacular first impression, inside and out. The façade, entrance lobby, beautiful staircase and high ceilings are stunning and we were very impressed. Every member of staff we interacted with, day and night, was genuinely friendly and polite. In particular, we received a lovely enthusiastic warm welcome when we checked in on Monday afternoon. The room was perfectly clean, and had plenty of helpful features like space to hang clothes, easily accessible plug sockets and a fabulous bed. The bathroom was spotlessly clean too and had all sorts of lovely-smelling toiletries. We liked the provision of coffee-bags rather than instant coffee. They tasted great! The view from our room looked out across the top of the porch of the hotel, and this did look a little bit weather-beaten and had some untidy-looking wiring for lighting the hotel front. If this could be tidied up a little, it would be great, as there is a wonderful view beyond it, of a pretty park full of trees and flowers. Overall, this was a spectacularly beautiful hotel to stay in and the staff were wonderful."

Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa

Hatherley Manor Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are slightly worn but it’s a given with the nature of the property. Rooms were clean and had no issues. Modern bathroom. Staff attentive and helpful. The spa is dated, and not all facilities were working. It felt more like hotel pool facilities rather than a spa itself. Great to have included in the price of the room to use if you want. Breakfast was okay, small selection of included made to order options. Full breakfast with an additional £5 charge. Eggs were not good quality, recommend hotel to change supplier."

Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app helps travellers compare hotel prices and amenities, so if a room becomes available or the price drops, you could find a great opportunity to book a last-minute getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Stroud hotel. For those interested in unique experiences, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised experience and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially secure a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
