The Wyndham Sanya Bay is a new hotel and it is impressive the moment you enter the property. The Lobby has lots of glass and marble. Staff were wonderful. Many did not speak much English, but each time I spoke to one they told me if they couldn't speak English and immediately found someone who could. We absolutely loved our room. It was modern, with a lovely glass shower and all the amenities we could possibly need. There was a beautiful bathtub on the balcony with an ocean view. There was a stand for a towel, wet swimsuit, or just to hold a towel to prevent anyone seeing you in the tub. At night the grounds were lit with fairy lights in pretty colours. It was an amazing view. The pool was the largest I have seen in a long time with a full children's playground in one area of it, and a deeper area where we could swim lengths. There was also a swim up bar, and some of the loungers with umbrellas were in an inch of water which was great on a hot day. The restaurants were very good. The evening buffet was a BBQ and hot pot which we did not understand. We were assigned a wonderful waiter who spoke excellent English who helped is through the hot pot experience and made suggestions. The beach is close by, about a block but we loved the hotel so much we spent most of our time in the hotel. The airport is a 15 minute shuttle ride, and we were not charged for the shuttle. We sincerely wished we had planned to spend more time there.
