Excellent
We really enjoyed our stay at this very convenient hotel. Our room was just perfect for me and my daughter for the week in London for a nursing g conference and some pleasure afterwards. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. So pleased with the cleanliness and the hotel smells so good. The location is close to a lot of bus stops and underground trains to explore the city. Would love to come back and stay here for next time!

Hotel is superb for concerts at Hyde Park and other sightseeing locations. Plenty of restaurants, cafés to choose from and 18 minutes walk to Paddington train station if flying from Heathrow Airport.

2/10 Poor

Over priced, dirty, no lift, no help with luggage, no mini bar, room far from deluxe, tired, dated and unpleasant. Bed was ok, breakfast in a different building was of a a good standard. Can’t recommend.

Hotel under refurbishment
We stayed here for a work assignment in Mayfair. We initially booked the hotel but on arrival the hotel was being renovated and we were directed to a neighbouring property which comprised many suites. Our main issues were there were a lot of stairs and no lifts. The annexe also didn’t have a bar or restaurant. However, the price was fair, the area excellent and overall a good stay.

Massive potential
Could be lovely. Some great design in the room just a few things need fixing. There is a potential mini kitchen but without cutlery or crockery it is a bit frustrating. Staff lovely, room clean and bed very comfortable

Two blocks from Oxford Street and yet so calm. Didn't hear a sound at night. Our room had a good size bathroom fully equipped. The bedroom had sink, microwave, safe, and refreshments. The electricity went out late the day we arrived, but we didn't need them until the next morning and they were there first thing. Excellent service! They stored our luggage because we arrived hours before check-in and after shopping we came to our room and they had brought our luggage there. Same for departure, they stored our luggage. Will definitely recomend this hotel for others and we will hopefully come back in the future! Thank you for the service! Loved the staff! Ingunn Engeland

It's in a good location for Oxford Street, but it's not a good hotel. The wi-fi only allows 1 device access, the air conditioning is poor, the windows are not double glazed, the bathrooms are tiny
Mark, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Single room very very small. Air conditioning made a lot of noise asp had to turn off to sleep. Outside the window was external air conditioning unit which went off every 10mins which was also noisy. Complained to reception and was told nothing they could do. They did move me the second night which wasn’t much better
Karl, 2-night trip

My room was very nice, apparently a deluxe room I somehow got upgraded to. Very spacious and comfortable. On the other hand, my collegue (who booked directly through the website) had a bad experience. They apparently lost or overbooked his reservation, and then he ended up in a small, damp, noisy basement room.

4/10 Fair

Avoid
Room in the basement. Terrible smell of mold. Window view terrible, airco sound at the level of diessel engine. Size of the room was a joke.

Great hotel, badly advertised parking
The overall hotel was great l, room was good and clean however a big part of this was “parking available” on the site only to be told that there was no onsite parking and that the only parking was on the street for 4hrs only. This was a massive inconvenience having to find alternative parking and at an additional cost that I wasn’t expecting to be paying

The hotel is really nice in a great location. The room is spacious & clean. The reception staff were helpful when we stayed there. However..... i left a dress in the wardrobe, i emailed them twice & had no response. I called 5 times & each time was told they would ask housekeeping & call me back. They never did!! I can only assume that housekeeping stole my dress. I would think twice about booking

Complete Rip-off
Complete rip off. Unprofessional staff. Moved my booking to another hotel of the group without explanation. The room was tiny, old and dirty. There was Mold on the bathroom walls. They wouldnt gice drinking water until asked everyday. The list is long. The only thing good about the place was its location.
Meet, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Central/convenient - but tired
Good value for a central location and the reception ladies were cheerful, even though they were dealing with an antiquated system and the tiniest desk space. Bedrooms were tired but the bed was comfortable. However, the air-con in my room was so noisy (old) that I had to turn it off in the middle of the night. The small shower room was not as clean as I would have hoped and the extractor fan rattled deafeningly. There was also a crazily bright green security/sensor light on the ceiling, so the room was far too lit-up during the night, rather defeating the point of the blackout curtains.

2/10 Poor

Ridiculous service - Double Booked me!!! - then an
I turned up with a confirmed booking - paid for in advance. The reason I had booked this hotel was because my work colleagues were staying here so we could get some work done and share cabs etc. When I tried to check in they had over booked and did not have a room for me. The ended up having to send me to another hotel - I paid a substantial amount for a room in the same hotel as my colleagues - no refund - no discount just moved me to another location - what a joke - I could have booked a room elsewhere in London myself. The point was that I was meant to be tying there for convenience. It became anything but - I will never stay here again.
