2/10 Poor

Definitely no Coffee and Barely a Bed
The reception office was locked with no one inside upon our arrival. The door had instructions to call a local phone number, meaning the cost of an international phone call paid by us. The male employee appeared on foot 5 minutes later. Explaining that the hotel is "5 different buildings," our room was down the street with an unmarked door. Our entry immediately upset 2 small dogs, who barked continuously at us while we walked down the hall, up the stairs and for 20 minutes after. Our room was pictures #7 & 8 on the website. The bathroom was actually in the hall outside of our room (toilet only in a room barely big enough for that) and had no toilet paper so we had to make another international call to the male receptionist who promised toilet paper but no relief from the barking. We left for dinner and were again greeted with the barking dogs for 20 minutes when we came back but at least we had toilet paper. The room itself was very large with a small unstocked kitchenette and 2 double beds. Our bed was uncomfortably soft and in the daylight the next morning we found that half of the mattress cover was ripped and hanging open with the foam padding hanging out. The receptionist stated that coffee would be available in the reception office in the morning, but the door was again locked with no one inside when we arrived, so we pushed the key through the slot in the door and left. The hotel is just off of the main square and its location was the only good thing about it for us.
