Great welcome Room had clearly been recently painted - but pictures etc not put back were on top of cupboard General furnishings dated and well used, which is a real shame . Struggled to get enough hot water for a bath in the evening Food was excellent and service even though young staff was good. Breakfast outstanding . We weren't and aware you couldn't charge to your room, so embarrassingly had to dash back to room to get wallet to pay for dinner. Bar staff were brilliant and sorted for our pre dinner drinks to be charged to room.

Lovely 1 night stay at a great hotel. Check in was quick and easy and the room was amazing. Booked afternoon tea which was pretty good but the service was painfully slow. Then for breakfast had the same trouble. Used the Spa the next day after check out whixh was also good.
