Last Minute Life-Saver
We booked this stay at about 6:30pm on Hotels.com when our previous plans fell through, and started driving. When we got to the motel at 8:15pm, no one was in the office. We opened our confirmation email and saw that the office closed at 8pm and if we were going to be later, we needed to let them know ahead of time. We weren't sure what to do, but eventually we found the owner's cell number and texted him. He and his wife came back and checked us in. We were so grateful! They were very kind. The apartment was clean and spacious and comfortable. We were very happy to have a nice place to sleep. The owners also recommended a wonderful breakfast place!

Unfortunately we only stayed one night on our way back to the airport, but wish it had been longer. A lovely motel with spacious and well furnished rooms with all amenities. Parking right outside the door. Well presented site. Staff were friendly and helpful in providing information Short walk into town for food and pub. The unit was spacious and very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely people very friendly. We wished we were on the sunny side of the complex but as we were not there during the day it wasn't too bad. We will stay there again if we return to Methven. Regards Penny and Clive
