In general the Hotel was very pleasant but our bathroom needed a face lift and the hot water took a very long time to come through. The bedroom was very nice and the breakfast room and food was very good.

The staff are very friendly, approachable and provide great service. The breakfast buffet is lovely with lots of choice. The room was very big though a little dated and there were some stains on carpets etc. However, the beds were very comfortable and both the bed linen and towels clean. The Location is in the middle of town. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying again myself.

Arrived late-ish and was warmly greeted. Comfortable room although without air conditioning and very muggy weather had to rely on oscillating fan to cool the night. Throughout our stay staff were friendly and helpful - even when we turned up one evening without our room key! Secure parking was available and used once but access was rather tight in an unfamiliar (hired car) so chose to park in adjacent road - never had a problem. Only had breakfast once and it was OK. Originally booked for three nights but happily added another. Would not hesitate to go there again.

Lacking quality.
A pleasant hotel but had a little trouble finding it as it is actually called Hotel Stadt Gutersloh not Centro Hotel. There are no amenities here apart from a tiny bar which is easily missed as it is slightly hidden. The rooms are very basic and the carpet in my room was in a bad state where the door has rubbed it. The toilet tended to smell from time to time and the fridge was empty. Breakfast is also very basic offering only continental type. There is also a lot of noise in the early morning. I would expect more for the price charged and would only rate this hotel as a 3 star. Slightly disappointed overall.

the staff were fab in this hotel, when we got our van stuck in the nearby carpark as it closes on sat night they helped get hold of the owners who let us out and when I enquired about a different room as the ones at the front can be noisy the moved me without question would defiantly recommend this hotel to others breakfast was also great

This is a excellently situated hotel for all amenities. On the first night my friend was kept awake by the nightclub opposite but the start moved her straight away. What makes this hotel is the staff. They cannot do enough for you and got us out of a sticky situation when our vehicle was locked in a car park and would have meant missing our flight. Can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good hotel, good location.
Booked the hotel as I was joining others who had already booked. Was initially a bit worried due to others reviews but I can honestly say there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. I could not fault the service, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the reception staff. You get a lot for your money. I asked for a quiet room and got it, no problem with night noise. Avoid room 103 as this did give its occupant a sleepless night. Rm 102 is perfectly fine. I'd stay here again most definitely.

Great stay
Reception staff were amazing. After confusion of going to wrong hotel at first, very relieved to have got there and been put at ease as soon as we finally arrived. Young woman at reception is an apprentice but the nicest and friendliest young woman i have met. Great breakfast and overall a very good stay.

I always stay here when I am in Guetersloh. Cozy and comfy hotel. Amazing staff!!! 3 minute walk to train station. Great location! Great breakfast buffet. Most rooms have a very big bathroom. The furniture are a little dated but still charming!!! Cons: No AC and no fridge/minibar in the rooms. Surcharge for parking.

Centre Hotel Stadt Gutersloh
Staying at the Centro Hotel Stadt was lovely and couldn't fault our stay. We had arrived early and was able to leave our bags at reception. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and spoke in English for us. The room was very clean and spacious. Towels and toiletries were provided. At breakfast time there is a wide choice to chose from and there is a waiter to serve you drinks. I highly recommend this hotel. Plus its a bonus its right next to the train station.
