Terribly Disappointed.
We checked in and discovered there would be no breakfast because “we didn’t choose that package”; however, that option was not provided, but ok. We went out to eat and came back about 9pm to discover our room key pad was damaged, but worked (we hadn’t gone up at check in, just out to eat) and the door was dirty (I have pics). Still it worked and the inside locks worked and since we hadn’t planned on leaving we were ok with it. We get inside and the desk chair arms are extremely tattered. We asked about buying bottled water, but they had none because the delivery truck hadn't arrived. Plus, the vending machines were all sold out. Then, the remote only controlled the on/off, and volume. So no TV! This was about 10pm so we didn’t bother with trying to get someone to fix it. They weren’t helpful with the drinks so why would they care about the TV. Finally, as we were packing to leave I discover a used disposable laundry bag in the closet. When we checked out I tried reporting the issues but the clerk said “Yeah, we know and we are working on this problems. Like I know these aren’t huge deals, but we got the impression that our room was on hotels.com as a “discounted rate due to damage.” The issue is that we could’ve (and will going forward) stayed somewhere else. We presumed that as an upper scale Hilton family hotel that it would’ve been a treat but instead we were terribly disappointed.
