Dated decor, uncomfortable bed, but clean and tidy
The check in was fine, the proprietor was friendly and attentive. The room smelled musty and damp and had very dated decor, but it was clean and tidy. The motel was right on the main road, but the traffic noise wasn't too bad.

Upon arrival we walk into the room and the stench was unbearable, it smelt like the room hadn't been open for at least six months. Towels and pillows had green snot marks on them. We had decided at this point we couldn't stay in this place. We had tried the TV but it also didn't work. We have never had to stay in a place as bad as this. We approached the front reception and he offered a refund as he understood are concerns.

The rooms were really tired and old, didn't feel clean at all. The volume button on the TV remote didn't work, so TV was way too loud. Some light bulbs needed replacing. Definitely asking too much per room for what was offered. Waste of money.

Cockroaches in the kitchen, broken light fittings, broken window latches so screwed closed, broken toilet roll holder, shower Luke warm after 10 mins to warm up, holes in wall, fire alarm taped to ceiling. Mould throughout bathroom and stunk of it. Absolute tip, worst place we have ever stayed

No hot water in the shower - which we needed after a long day. The room itself was comfortable, clean and inviting. The front door mat was almost in pieces which is what greeted us. The grounds have great potential which needs to be realised - outside the sliding doors is an outside area which could be made to be a pleasant seating space.
