I booked thru Hotels.com. The hotel description indicated free breakfast as most hotels do. I came down our first morning, "Please point me toward breakfast!". They looked at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears. "What room are you in?" I said, "403". He says, "Oh, you booked through Expedia. You didn't buy the correct package that includes breakfast." Correct package??? After explaining I had never even heard of their brand til I went to Hotels.com, they said, "Sorry." They did offer to let me take some fruit for free, including the most over-ripe bananas I've ever had. No making an exception for a first time customer. I felt pretty stupid for booking Aloft. I won't be staying with them again.
