The "good": The relatively "quiet" location & proximity to Kelowna General Hospital is a plus. The lobby area, grounds, and pools are well kept.
The not-so-good: The Resort fee PLUS parking fee are ridiculous for a small Resort that is pretending to be a large resort in Hawaii or Vegas. Paying a blanket daily fee (plus taxes) for things that should be "pay-per-use", such as a half-hour wine tasting, Yoga, dance lessons, morning run, 1 hour kayak use is an insult to those of us that will NEVER use these. Pools & spa tubs should be included in the room rate, and then pay-to-park? How the heck are we supposed to get there? Just include parking in the room rate then. Nickel & diming for everything just drove me away from this "resort" for good.
The carpets in the public hallways were completely stained & torn, baseboards are beat up (as they are in the room), air vents are filthy, the deck off the room was dirty with leaves, dirty furniture & cobwebs overhead. Not good for a "wanna-be big city resort"...
