Modern, serene paradise
The entire experience was amazing! This hotel is an oasis on the coast with amazing food and drinks with fresh, healthy ingredients. Our room was more like a modern villa with a private staircase and enormous balcony with lounge furniture overlooking a courtyard with a reflecting pool and lush trees. Beyond the courtyard, you can see the ocean right from the balcony. The security guards protect the space from other tourists so it is very private and has roped off loungers on the beach. With a short walk, you can walk to the grocery store, restaurants and bars.

Charming and hospitable!
Marvelous stay at this small hotel! Being right in front of the beach, you fall asleep listening to the waves. Staff was extremely attentive, the room was stylish, clean and very comfortable. The rooms are not equipped with coffee maker or phones (we used WhatsApp to request room service and arrange excursions, and every morning there was complimentary coffee available by the pool for those who are early risers.) The area around the hotel felt safe even after sunset, with plenty of water-front restaurants nearby (our favorite one was the Argentine Grill, about a mile from the hotel.) If you decide to eat at Arca, their food is delightful too! (Most of our breakfasts in Roatan were enjoyed here.) The beach itself is busy, even noisy at times especially if you're staying in the rooms that face the water. (We slept until 8am and woke up to vendors yelling, boats coming and going, and the occasional kid squealing in the public beach area, but that's beyond Arca's control and it didn't take away from our experience.) Overall, we found Arca's boutique hotel to be charming and look forward to another visit.

Beautiful property with plenty of shaded areas. Rooms are modern and clean with daily servicing. All staff are very friendly, helpful and seem happy to be there. Included breakfast selections are delicious and varied. Arca has its own 24 hour security guard. There is a small convenience store about a 5 minute walk up the beach and there are many excellent dining options within a short walking distance. Overall we loved our stay here!!!

My boyfriend and I just recently went to Arca to celebrate my 21st birthday. I have stayed in Roatán before in other hotels but nothing compares to Arca. You are surrounded by beauty and a wonderful staff team (Olive especially) that are more than helpful with everything and make you feel so welcome. It is very quiet and relaxing to stay here, yet you still have all of west bay if you want to party a little louder. This was most definitely my best experience in Roatán. I would highly recommend to everyone to stay here.

Beautiful hotel. Free breakfast from a menu, not a buffet. Wonderful staff. Very affordable compared to other hotels like this in the area. Clean, safe, on the beach. Perfect. Will visit again. Jordie deserves a raise and gave us a ton of great tips on our trip from the airport.

We stayed at the Arca July 11th-16th, 2024. It was nice, small, pretty, quiet- how’d you’d expect boutique hotels. I’d give them 3.5/5 stars. Pros: 24/7 security, attentive staff, quiet, chef available to cook (cooked our fish we caught from deep sea fishing), great location, pool is nice, they put buckets of water before your room so you can wash the sand off your feet, a nice breakfast is available. Cons: Not all inclusive and only breakfast served. We felt infinity bay would have been a better choice. Our water heater was out for a couple days while we were there (they did fix it promptly). The WiFi is horrible hopefully you get a travel plan with your phone otherwise good luck using it. The hotels taxi is EXPENSIVE. I’m talking $80 to go 10 minutes down the road to a restaurant. Ask them to call you a taxi we paid $30 total. In all it was a nice hotel however, for the price we paid, we wish we went with an all inclusive resort.

Arca was a great place to stay! I’d totally stay there again, and we want to go back to Roatan, so we definitely will. The food was great, drinks were great, beach was great, and the service was phenomenal! Everyone we encountered could not have been kinder or more helpful and accommodating! The room was super comfy and with all the grey tones, we extremely relaxing! The atmosphere and great smell - very subtle - but very clean, was so wonderful. I simply can’t say enough about Arca, except that it was a great choice! Another note, the taxi drivers they use, Jordie and James, were just great! Took us to do some amazing things and recommended some great restaurants. They were also so accommodating! Love the place!

I had such an amazing experience from booking to departure. The staff were super attentive and organized. The food was amazing, rooms were clean functional. They offer so much support take initiative to ensure that we are well taken care of. The location was great to feel that it felt still home to Roatán.
