Comfortable Clean Stay

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Damascus Old Mill Inn. The property is in a very scenic location, and very close to restaurants and trails. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The towels were great, so thick and fresh smelling! Breakfast was also very good, and the lady in charge of breakfast was super sweet. We would definitely stay again.

Inn was damaged by flood and not open. We were really looking forward to a night at the Ole Mill Inn! We plan to come back when it reopens for a weekend stay!

Every interaction with the staff, regardless of the role, was excellent. Our room was comfortable and the facility had great outdoor seating options next to the stream and waterfall. One area that does need some attention is the kitchen. Breakfast was disappointing and the quality of the our dinner - lemon garlic pasta - was below par. That said, we would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful inn, aboout the cleanest i have experienced. Great friendly helpful polite staff.the surrounding is also wonderfully the river runs right in the back ,ducks geese. So peaceful quit atmosphere. You can sit outide and have dinner or drinks,, coffee .or what ever you like .the rooms are very decorated clean and comfortable. Breakfast was all you could ask for .i never had any better even at the more expensive motels was is not as nice as the Old Miol inn.Just off I-81 east Exit 19 turn right and About 7 miles down to the inn .Its in Damascus Virginia .avery small community.theres a park just across the parking area also for walking picnic or what ever you desire .We will definitely stay again .

The staff and bartender were excellent. But we thought we were booking the mill inn instead we were put into the old house across the street. It was quaint and clean but i dont think it was worth 200 a night. The tv remote didn’t work the tv. No instructions anywhere for anything. The ac wasn’t working properly. The free breakfast was cold ,coffee luke warm no microwave or way to heat things up. It just wasn’t worth 200 a night.

Stayed for one night while in town. An event had staff overwhelmed and check in was chaotic. Room was decent but AC wasn’t working properly. This was probably the reason for the window being left open? Breakfast was great and the lady working the kitchen was super friendly. Would consider going back but for the price and accommodations, it wouldn’t be our first pick.

Friendliest staff!

We called to let them know we'd be arriving after 9:00 p.m., which they said was fine, but the kitchen stopped taking orders at 9:00. The front desk offered to take our order and put it in for us. The timing was perfect, and we had hot, fresh food shortly after we arrived. The breakfast buffet was very good, with the blueberry muffins the hit of the party. We had a little dog that they were very kind to.

Hidden Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Damascus Old Mill Inn. It’s located right on the river and convenient to all the shops in town as well as the Creeper Trail. The atmosphere at the Inn was very welcoming and comfortable..The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Breakfast with Betty was always a great start to our day.
