Red Sky Bar is close to Bangkok’s Siam area, where you can explore upmarket and trendy shopping malls such as Siam Paragon, Siam Square One, and CentralWorld. The bar occupies the highest floor of Centara Grand, which is part of the CentralWorld shopping mall.

There’s a lift that takes you to Red Sky outside the mall – turn your back to the BTS Skytrain track and walk to the end of CentralWorld. The friendly staff will take you to a table if you choose to dine or to one of the comfortable sofas distributed around the circular tower.

Only a few sofas face west, so it’s best to come a bit early if you want to get the best seat. If you know Bangkok, trying to identify buildings and spotting landmarks seen from the top is an irresistible game. Look for the beautiful Wat Saket or try to spot MBK Siam Discovery – it's harder than it seems.
