As expected, hotel and rooms were small. Our room and bathroom were clean but quite stuffy. The staff were ok, not the most courteous or happiest we’ve encountered in Japan. We’re not big drinkers so we didn’t take advantage of the happy hour during our stay. Most guests were English-speaking (American mostly) tourists here so it can get rowdy, especially during happy hour, but that is expected from the area. Though this is near Kabukicho (red light district), it was far enough from the crowd. Train stations were also about 8-10 min walk away, not accounting for the time walking through the train stations. Decent stay but expensive for what it was because we went during cherry blossom season. Would not stay again.
