The hotel was generally okay, but the overpowering smell of bleach or some other chemical when you enter was very unpleasant and off-putting.
Our room (#104) had a King bed, but unfortunately, the HVAC system wasn’t working. I called the front desk late at night, and while the staff member said maintenance could look at it in the morning, she also offered to move us to another room. However, no King bed rooms were available, and since it was already past midnight and we were exhausted, we decided to stay in the room we had paid for.
The next morning, we reminded the front desk about the HVAC issue, but when we returned for our second night, the problem still wasn’t fixed. The room remained hot and stuffy, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
When I politely raised the issue again during checkout, the front desk staff was dismissive, responding with, ‘But you were offered another room.’ While this was technically true, there were no King rooms available, and her attitude made me feel as if I was being unreasonable for expecting the issue to be resolved. I found this response to be quite rude and unhelpful.
