Don’t do it, beware! Let me first say Debra at the front desk was a truly kind and helpful person. I can’t say enough how sweet she was. But this is absolutely the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in. I wasn’t bothered that it’s clearly an old, outdated property. But after finding tons of hair that didn’t belong to us, a giant stain (that looked like blood) on the bed, a filthy bath tub and an odor, we went downstairs and asked to be moved to another room (we tried calling the front desk but the phone in the room didn’t even have a dial tone. When I picked it up off the table to see if it was plugged in I found more filth underneath). Our second room was also filthy. I went back to the front desk and explained we wanted to leave and would like a refund. Debra was helpful and accommodating. It bears mentioning that while we waited to ask for a refund, a man on line in front of us was complaining about the fact that his room was dirty, he’d requested housekeeping two days ago and no one ever came. Rather than finishing their stay, they were checking out two days early. As we were leaving, a man behind us was also waiting to change his room. The hotels in the direct area were fully booked. Thankfully we were able to find a room at a beautiful hotel about 15 minutes away where we showered the minute we arrived. No matter what other reviews say this was by far the grossest place. We’re not Ritz Carlton people but this place made sleeping in our car seem like a better alternative.
