Mixed Feelings
Great location, lobby and staff. But, I wouldn’t stay overnight again. Let’s start with $500 deposit (booked through Hotels.com so they insisted its policy). Not an issue for everyone, but steep for others with limited credit. Room needs repair, sound proofing is 0%, shower design (half wall) leads to soaked heated floor, slider “door” to bathroom has no grab portion so there are handprints all over it (searching for a way out!) and creates NO privacy. Poor design. Patio with chairs off back door is a nice touch, but we didn’t drink the 4 Budweiser on the table that greeted us upon arrival. Parking behind is awesome & pets welcome but didn’t smell like it which was nice. Not sure of other amenities as we weren’t there long enough.

The hotel has been renovated and looks great for the most part. However there were lots of bugs inside the room, daily house cleaning did not occur as indicated, the steam room stunk of urine and there were never any towels provided at the pool. The gym is the size of a closet that included a stairmaster that did not work, a peloton that you need a subscription for and a total body gym equipment; the room was so hot and the air conditioning didnt work. Im sure once renovations and work is complete the place will be great. Unfortunately this is the only hotel in Falcon Beach.

Property is in poor condition, not worth the price! Property said they did renovations but renovations were terrible workmanship. Pool area is falling apart, rooms smell, and pictures of property are nothing like reality!

There have obviously been some renovations performed on the hotel property, though all the work has been done by substandard contractors. Crumbling grout in the shower, bowed and broken bathroom door, nicks and dings and damage everywhere you look. Some money has been spent on upkeep but none of it in the right places. Staff are excellent however, though the hotel restaurant leaves much to be desired.

The only hotel in Falcon Lake so they can charge high rates. The rooms are new and good a/c. Our shower would not produce hot water and they made it work for the second night. They don't offer to clean the room or change towels for 2 night stays. I expect that from a $60 night not a $250 night. The staff were very friendly

Nice stay but hotel needs some more work
Had a nice two-night stay here as a family of four with two young kids. All the staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. My kids loved babysitting Bubbles the fish during our stay. The hotel is newly renovated, but the hallways already look worn with paint chipping and dents in the walls. If you look closely, this was not a professionally done renovation. The room was nice, clean, although small, and the beds were really comfortable. It would be helpful to install some sort of armoire/closet in the rooms to hang clothing. Bathroom fixtures are nice but not practical. The shower water gets all over the floor, and the sink faucet is short which causes water to run along the entire counter. So anything you put on the counter above the toilet gets soaked. The shelf under the sink was broken when we came. My kids loved the pool and water slide, and the sauna and steam room were a nice bonus. I am a stickler for cleanliness and was quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the pool area. Lots of dirt on the pool deck and dirt, debris and sand at the bottom of the pool. Green mould between the floor and walls. The pool deck and stairs to the water slide were not cleaned the entire time we were there. There was a used Bandaid by the shallow end that was there for the duration of our stay. The railing to get into the shallow end was loose. This hotel has tons of potential, and I believe they are working to make it better. Overall we had a nice time.
