This is the kind of property you dream of staying at. From the beautiful entryway with front desk to the right and bar/lounge to the left, this is only the beginning of the beauty. The staff is exceedingly pleasant and professional, and the welcome glass of champagne was an unexpected level of fancy to experience. The hotel has several art galleries and art throughout the property. Our room had art throughout the room and a booklet that described the art and artists responsible. The room also had a Ukelele (took a Youtube lesson to play) and a RECORD PLAYER! There is vinyl to play in the room and in the lobby. Our room was spacious with a King bed, a full couch and room to relax. The bath was bright and full of artful touches from the artful bath tiles to the beautiful sink with art soap! Every aspect of the St. Kate is artful including their restaurant options. The lobby bar has an extensive menu most of the day. There is a Pizza and salad takeout venue that served excellent pizza. The Aria, a bright, beautiful restaurant we had breakfast at (included in our stay) was top notch in service and 5-star food. Where else can you get delicious P, B & J French Toast? It was delicious! Drawbacks? There seems to be no ability to buy a drink (Soda, water) without going to the lobby or using room service, and parking is $31 a day. You're in a great location in Milwaukee's theater district and a block from Riverwalk. I can't recommend the excellence of the St. Kate enough.
