Booked a remolded room, this is not what they attempted to place us in. Went to room and found it to be tattered, and not what we ordered complained. Staff reluctantly had us moved to a new room. Desk offered to send us new keys to new room and move us? 30 minutes goes by, we go down stairs to desk to get keys. Desk claims we did nit get keys because we were not in room? Pointed out that I waited 30 minutes and stood in line at desk for additional 30 minutes? Gives is keys, I ask if my old keys works to get personal possession out of room, perplexed clerk says “no”! Ask how will I get my things? She had to ask manager? Never saw this manager she claims to have talked too. After additional 30 minute delay at the desk and suggesting alternative ways to get luggage, they gives us two keys, one for the new room and one for the old room. Go to new room? Enter new room, curtains do not operate by remote, find a dirty old sock under coffee table, smoke alarm starts beeping. Call maintenance and tell them about alarm, you would think they would bring a 9 volt battery with them? They did not? Had to go get one. Toilet runs water all night, tub power button went on all by itself flashing red light in bathroom, shower door off hinges? Very poor representation of a remodeled upgraded room for a Hyatt property. Will never ever stay at this location again as it was poorly maintained, the smell of pot being smoked throughout the property is in very poor taste.
