Sad Situation
Arrived late after flying from far away. Waited and waited at the front desk. Looked everywhere for the luggage cart. Was told only bellmen were permitted to use it. First I have ever heard of this. The cheapest of properties let you use the cart. Finally checked in, elevator does not work properly. Treated like criminals and trespassers by security/lobby staff. Curly hairs on the bathroom floor. Clearly not ours. The food was OK and the restaurant staff was good. I wanted to make the last night of our vacation special but was treated badly by my own neighbors (I live in Oakland). Done with Marriott properties, sticking with Patel Properties from now on. They appreciate customers.

The location can’t be beat for walking distance to Jack London, Chinatown or a BART station. The hotels amenities from the valet, front desk, restaurant and overall attention to room aesthetics is outstanding. Quality top to bottom. Would stay here anytime I need to be close to DT OAK.
