Not as happy, as past visits.
Not so good. Checkin was great. We stayed in the side by the front desk. It definitely needs renovated. We were missing a lounge chair. The only chair was at the desk. There was a big open area, but no chair or end table. I felt like we were in a grade school…the toilet was very low. The faucet would shut off, if the handle wasn’t turned completely on. Check out this morning was not so good. There was no one at the front desk. There was a sign that the desk attendant was helping another guest. We were to dial “0” for help. The first time, someone actually answered and they said someone would be right there. After five minutes we called again. The phone just kept ringing. We could hear someone talking in the office. We tried calling “0” twice and after no response, we left the key cards (as we noticed we had already been charged for our 3-night stay) and left, as we had an appointment. Needless to say, after staying there whenever we were in town, we are so glad we have other hotel choices.
We have heard that about 30 rooms have been renovated. It would have been nice to know this. It’s probably time to renovate the rest of the rooms.
