We arrived at the hotel and “checked-in” and got the keys to our room. Once we got to the room, it was already occupied. Back at the front desk, they said we didn’t have a reservation at the hotel, we booked it through Hotels.com and had the itinerary number. The hotel “couldn’t find it” so we had to pay again at the hotel to get another room. All this happening after midnight, with my children already confused and upset after walking in on a couple in the first room. “Dad, what were they doing naked?” Great question, thank you Hampton Inn for this memory from my son and rest of the family.
