Very sub-par Hilton experience
We had a very dissatisfactory stay at this Hilton-establishment. And feel it is very sub-par to the level of service, cleanliness and general standard you would expect for a Hilton hotel and this level of cost.
We stayed two nights in a classic, 2 queen bed room as a family (two adults, two kids aged 4 and 8). The furniture in the room was decent, but we never received any cleaning of the room during our stay - despite being out of the room all of the day in which cleaning should have taken place. When we pointed this out, nothing happened. We finally manage to get a couple of clean towels for the following day. And upon leaving the room, we found a very old moldy apple under one of the beds (see photo) and several other examples of the cleanliness being very below the standard that can be expected of a Hilton hotel (or any other hotel at this cost level).
Additionally, the level of service left a lot to be desired. While we understand some might still have been impacted by the recent Eagles triumph (we arrived the day following the Super Bowl parade in Philadelphia), we had issues related to actually receiving the breakfast that was included in our stay, lack of following up on requests made for coffee, tea etc. during the breakfast and not least an interaction with management to attend to our concerns during the stay, where a promised call and follow-up by the hotel was never made.
We have subsequently been in dialogue with the hotel, who are yet to respond satisfactory.
