we received a very good reception with thorough and good information. our hotel room was wonderful, it was large, clean, had good air conditioning and a fridge, which we really appreciated. the pool area was lovely and there were always sunbeds and if not the lifeguards found some immediately. we think it was silly we had to wear a swimming cap and didn't understand why?
directly opposite the hotel there is an ATM, supermarket and a few restaurants. if you walk 2-3 kilometers down the road there is an area with several restaurants, shops, bars etc.
the breakfast was very boring and basic. would suit a 2 star hotel more than a 4 star resort.
the day of our return we asked for help to get a taxi to the airport. we were going to the airport at 2pm and asked for help booking a taxi at 10am. we were told that you couldn't pre-book and that they generally couldn't promise we could get a taxi?! that it was a general problem especially on Sundays. a 4-star resort, 15 km from the airport, which obviously sees it as a general problem, simply has to come up with a solution. Own shuttle bus? cooperation with a taxi company? at 11.30 we approached again, as we didn't dare wait after the receptionist said they didn't know if we could get a taxi. They ordered a taxi and we were picked up 20 minutes later.. we Were at the airport over 2 hours before we had to because of this and honestly the hotel should have better service and advice. Maybe a collab with a taxi service, shuttle etc
