Save your money and run!
The office was closed at7 pm, had to wait outside to check in. This was nothing more than a cheap motel but with a view. No microwave. The bed only had a fitted sheet & comforter. No top sheet no blankets. Housekeeping only once every 3 days. Everything about the property was rundown. The hot tub (the sole reason i booked the stay) was closed by the health department. The rooms arent connected to the main building.

Not an enjoyable stay.
Hot tub closed by the local Health Department, we chose that hotel because they offered one.
Most uncomfortable beds and pillows we have ever experienced.
The restaurant did not honour the advertised hours.

Comfort was lacking
Clean, nice room. Did not like the pillows; they were too thick and too firm. I prefer to sleep with just a top sheet because duvet was too warm. However, there was no top sheet; just the duvet. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. One of the window blinds would not open.

The Motel room smelled like stale smoke, room needed painting. We asked to be moved, and had an excellent room in the main building. I would recommend the main building rooms. Women at checkin was not friendly. The young man who took over was EXCELLENT. He helped us move our room and was so gracious.

Overcharged for our stay. Overpriced for what it is. Pedal boats parked all over the place. Unfriendly staff. Random restaurant hours.

Overcharged for the room. The parking lot is stuffed with ugly pedal boats and watercraft. Restaurant was not open early enough for breakfast, then was not open for dinner because the chef wasn't there. Unfriendly staff.

Hotel staff were very attentive. It’s clear the facility is old and there is evidence of it being updated. The room was spacious but lacked power outlets and usb ports and the pillows were like bricks. Blinds were clunky and did not black out room. Fitness room is woefully lacking and the hot tub was not functioning nor was the pool very inviting. It’s ok but it needs more work.

Easy check-in. The manager went out of his way to make us comfortable. Helped set up the campfire too.
The staff was very humble and helpful. The restaurant is wonderful too, not too many options but whatever they have is very good.
Will definitely stop by for some dessert everytime we are in the area.

Hotel need a refresh - looks quite old and used. Bed linen was fresh though. Had the unfortunate timing of fire alarm testing when i arrive - was planning to have a rest after a long flight but the alarm going on every 30sec for over an hour killed the opportunity.
Breakfast offer was limited although the standard breakfast (eggs + sausage + potatoes) was good. No juice opportunity though.
View is great and area is quiet.

My family and I have been staying at this hotel since 2009 so we’ve seen most of its fases.
We really enjoy staying so close to the water. It’s something very unique to it and hard to be found.
The rooms were pretty clean, just a few cobwebs here and there (understandable but also easily fixable).
Love that it seems like all the towels have been replaced by new ones. Air conditioning worked perfectly and we were able to adjust the room temperature to our liking with zero issues. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast very much. My room was missing a microwave (my next door’s friend room had one) so I didn’t even asked the staff for one.
Unfortunately during our stay the hot tub was under renovation hopefully it will be back soon. Sauna worked perfectly and we enjoyed it a lot. The pool is a big feature for the kids and although we got to use it there were a few times that it had to be closed. We miss the chair and lounges that used to be on the pier.
Staff was very polite, friendly and attentive. Hope this new management will keep up with upgrades and good maintenance of the place.
Overall our stay was very pleasant and relaxing.
We’ll definitely continue to come every year.

Pool was closed
We specifically selected the Ramada over another option for the swimming pool, only to learn upon arrival that the pool was closed. According to the front desk staff it was to re-open on Thursday (we left on Wednesday). It sounded like they didn't bother for the few guests over the week and only open it up for the weekends. It was a bit disappointing.

The location is great. Right on the lake however, that’s all it has. The room was subpar. Bathrooms dirty and broken walls. No microwave in the room. Our key cards didn’t work and there was no staff at the front desk. One person working and leaving for the night so Libby area was locked. We got lucky that someone happened to walk by and notice us, therefore helped us get working keys. Everything was in our room so imagine that nobody ended up there to help us?! Parking lot full of water devices for rent and it just looks tacky/ cluttered. Was made to pay and extra $35 to park because we had a trailer- yet there was no one at the hotel. Maybe a total of 5 cars in the lot. Advertised with a restaurant .. and it was closed. Needless to say, you would be very disappointed if you went there for a longer stay and expected something nice. We stayed for a sleep along our travels. If there’s a next time, I’ll look around elsewhere before booking this (as a last resort) Definitely not worth the $250 nightly rate.
