Nasty room , unprofessional staff
After arriving everything was fine until I went to the room. There was a fowl smell, on the right side of bed on floor there was dry vomit. When down to the front desk to let the over desk employee know about this, at first he acted like he didn’t believe me. I showed him a picture and he said he will come up to room to check. After arriving into room he inspected what was on the floor and said he will take care of this. He came back with a squeegee, couple rags and furniture polish. I can not make this up. Furniture polish was the dry vomit gave a horrible smell, he said that he doesn’t smell anything now, I asked did he plan on using a mop and bucket, which he replied saying he doesn’t know how to use a mop. He than went into bathroom to rinse out vomit on rags and went back to front desk. After 20 minutes I went down to complain about the smell and he called the manager, and I was told I get my money back and find another hotel, because there wasn’t any more rooms, but people were still checking in while I was standing at front desk. Very unprofessional guy at front desk. The next morning the manager came in and exchanged my room. No a good stay, I have been coming have over the last several months 5 times (staying at this hotel). The employee needs training in room cleaning and hospitality.
