The Good:
The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. The rooms were clean and well-maintained.
The Bad:
Unfortunately, the building itself and its maintenance(renovation) leave much to be desired. The heater in the room was extremely noisy, turning on intermittently throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep.
The pool area had significant issues: no proper ventilation, resulting in condensation dripping from the ceiling, paint bubbling on some walls, and chipped pool flooring with fragments left in the water. Additionally, a curtain in the pool room was torn at the bottom, with exposed metal hanging out which can be a hazard. On both days, the pool area lacked towels, and guests had to request them and wait 15-20mns. We were told they were still in the dryers, which made it seem like the hotel might have been understaffed.
The check-in process was another pain point, with a 30-45 minute wait for multiple guests. To their credit, the staff offered a 12 PM late checkout to make up for the inconvenience.
Overall:
The staff was not the issue,they were helpful and did their best but the building is in dire need of repairs and updates. While the service was appreciated, I wouldn’t return unless the facility undergoes a refresh.
