Almost There, but Not Quite a Resort

This place has great potential but falls short in multiple ways. I appreciated the accommodation to check in early, but we had to pay a fee for it. Reception/check in process was clunky and out of date. One just was kind and the other not so much. Pool was nice but hot tub was closed with no explanation. Room was nice but hallways and carpet looked very dirty and stained. Nightlife outside was very loud.

There isn't any breakfast. There isn't an office, the desk are in the middle of the lobby. The pool is behind the desk, and the pool did not open on time because they waited too late to check the ph.

Absolutely loved the extra perks with the 2 other sister properties! Was a nice surprise for sure. The property was a little dated And could use some remodeling/extra cleaning in hallways but otherwise great spot close enough to the beach. Free laundry was a perk as well.

Stress free

Family style and safe. Close to beach. Good fun and eats nearby. I parked and my scooter got me as far as 10 blocks easily to everything I needed. 15 miles to the office each day and wonderful weather even when at the hottest. Friendly vendors and entertainment. Good shops too.

We were at this property for a dance competition. We had the best experience ever. Noise levels were amazing. Majority families were there and there was silence in the hallways by 9-10 each night.

Good place to stay

The overall stay was very pleasant and the staff very friendly. We did have minor issues with broken items in our room when we checked in. The staff was very helpful with getting the items replaced. The shower pressure was not great in our room and had a hard time using. There is only one elevator which can be frustrating during the check in and check out process. The resort is close to the beach and all the downtown shops.

Disappointed

Usually I stay without any problems but this year upon checking in now they try to sell you on a timeshare which they never did before. Room had no shower curtain, no bag for dirty towels to exchange, no electric skillet. All these items used to always be in the room. The toilet paper holder was broke , the curtain rod in the bedroom wouldn’t completely close and one of the knobs on the stove was broke like someone super glued it together. I had to use hotspot on my phone because WiFi was terrible and most of the channels didn’t work on the tv. It would only say the signal was weak.

NOT A RELAXING PLACE TO STAY

1) The room was no clean - lots of stains on carpet and tile. 2) The room smelled like someone had cooked a ton of fish in it 3) The staff did not even know that they do not clean rooms daily when I asked 4) The area around the hotel is very noisy 5) I called after my stay and left a message re: my. bill and I still have not heard back.

Upon first arrival it wasn’t so bad. Then the first night we had no ac in our room so we had to switch to another room. Multiple loud guests running the hallways at night. Talk to the manager on duty and they were supposed to reimburse me for the first night. That’s never happened and now no response

Nice place, nice price, awesome staff.

We we pleasantly surprised. The room was nice. Nicer than the pictures from website. The staff were fantastic. All so very friendly. The only minor downsides. The dishes were not all cleaned when we arrived and needed to be rewashed by hand before using them for the first time. The bedroom tv reception was not very good. Channels worked. Then they didn't and were not available. The living room tv always worked well and the channels were always clear. It was just the bedroom tv reception that was frustrating. Overall score was still and easy 8 out of 10.

Overall, Great.

Overall, this stay was great. We arrived early, and the staff allowed us to check in two hours before the normal time. All of the staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room was large and comfortable. The in-room kitchenette allowed savings on breakfast and lunch, which we didn't need to go out for. The pool is small, but warm (92), and the hot tub was large enough for two couples. Photos suggest this hotel is on the beach. It isn't, but it's only three blocks away. The neighborhood is business and feels safe for walking, even at night. Parking is tight, but we always found a spot. There were two negatives. After checking in and signing an agreement that included the no smoking policy, we entered our room to find that it smelled like someone had just smoked a cigarette inside. The staff cleared it while we were at dinner, but it wasn't a good first impression. Second and more problematic was soft water. I hate it. No matter how little soap I use, it doesn't wash off, and which so little soap it doesn't get me clean. An itchy, oily day is no fun. (Fortunately the ocean is close by.) That's the only thing that may prevent me from returning.

Adequate enough

The staff was nice. However, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. We could tell because pennies were still left on the floor in several places. The water pressure would come and go during showers, but it was do-able. The pool looked nice. Hot tub was taped off. The room served its purpose.
