You’re better off at a Motel 6
The room we booked was not what we received. The room was completely underwhelming. To top it off, the lights and ceiling fan didn’t work properly. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was because of the “gourmet breakfast” that was included each morning. Breakfast is served from 8-10am. We arrived before 9:30 and were told they were out of a number of items. For the outrageous price we were charged, we should have stayed at a motel 6 because that was what we received. We also called and asked before we booked if they had a place for us to charge and store our e-bikes. They said yes, which was a lie. We then had to walk our bikes up a flight of stairs and store/charge them in our room. When we asked to check out early the next morning because the room/hotel was not what we paid for, the manager informed us he would not give us a refund of the unused nights because they couldn’t open the reservation/room to anyone else and they would be losing money. I then proceeded to be on the phone with hotels.com for over 6 hours trying to switch hotels or figure out a better option. After being charged an additional $700 by hotels.com to switch hotels, they messed up the reservation and we did NOT have another room. They offered to compensate us $87 for the inconvenience. Worst hotel experience ever. We will NEVER return and suggest you don’t waste your time or money either. And shame on hotels.com for their poor handling of the situation as well.
