It's not a hotel. After you register you are first directed to the desks where you are informed of the amenities available to you (very nice) and then politely encouraged to attend a "presentation" (Club Wyndham timeshares) (not so nice)
Here's the thing: I just wanted a hotel room for the night. After the registration I was given directions to our room, building number and room number, and there are a hell of a lot of buildings so don't be surprised when you're sent out to search for your room.
The room was about what I expected for the price in a tourist trap area, however less than I expect from a fancy resort. The buildings are all 2 or 3 stories and mine had no elevator, The carpet outside the room is loose and pretty nasty. The room had that high humidity, not quite clean but not quite dirty smell. The bathroom light was yellowed, had two light bulbs of different brightness, and a good collection of dead bugs.
Overall, not a terrible place and I guess we would stay there again, but it wouldn't be our first choice.
