Disgusting service from rude and abrupt staff.
We paid, as you can see. We turned up around an hour after booking to check in. We were completely ignored by passing staff regardless of the fact that there were four of us standing around with our bags to check in. We eventually got greeted by an abrupt member of staff. Who told us she needed to get someone else to check us in. This other member of staff came around 15 minutes later, so we bought a drink each whilst we were waiting. This other member of staff then told us they didnt realise the rooms had been booked so they were just cleaning the rooms. So we had another drink and waited patiently for her to return. When she eventually returned she informed us that they couldn't accommodate and in fact the rooms were not even available at all. Regardless of the fact that we'd previously been told they were being cleaned and prepared for us! We had driven 3 hrs to the area to work and then another 20 minute drive to this actual hotel/accommodation. No apologies or even a complimentary drink or anything in the way of an apology for that mattee was offered! Completely rude and abrupt staff and that was all there was too it! Absolutely disgraceful way to treat customers who they'd managed to take around £300.00 off in about 2 hours.
