Antiques-filled B&B inside old palazzo in the Spanish Q is fun while visiting either the Spanish quarter or Centro Storico, but it is not easy to figure out the elevator by yourself (I didn't even see it on arrival, & we lugged our stuff up long couple flights of stairs). Best to call the front desk on arrival, for help.
Hugely friendly managers, aim to please, decent English spoken night and day.
Good strong fiberglass french doors shut out all sound from street. Good firm mattress. Room a little musty and echoes so much it can drive you crazy just talking about the weather, but "Toledo" room was huge and had a good writing table, armoire with safe, extra twin bed, and dainty balcony with table & chair. Working air con.
Good breakfast with eggs cooked to order, but no espresso. Fantastic neighborhood close to leather craftsmen and straight shot eastward to Xmas alley (enjoyable 11 min walk).
