I was in Memphis for the International Blues Competition and despite the storm and a broad closing of the area I have to say that the reason so many people were there from all around the world was respected and supported by the various staffs working

Loved visiting Memphis. A few tips: To really experience Graceland, do allow at least 4 hrs. Best Memphis BBQ? Rendezvous! And even if you aren't into fishing/hunting, Bass Pro Shop is a must, just for the amazing view from the top of the Pyramid!

Really enjoyed Graceland. It was well worth the visit. Marlowe's on Elvis Presley Blvd. was awesome. Beale street was very disappointing. Run down, not much too see but at least there was hardly anyone there when we went on a Thursday

A very friendly city in need of better economic times. Disappointing to see the S.Main St trolley is no longer running and the Mud Island Park is virtually closed except for seeing the dry Mississippi River Model.

The zoo is almost too much for one day, so if you can, make it 2 days. There are a lot of options for things to do in Memphis. Check out The Pig on Beale Street for bbq. They even have a lunch menu!

The National Civil Rights Museum is NOT TO MISS. Sun Studio was fun and the tour guide was excellent! And, of course, Beale Street has to be visited just because it is Beale Street.

The civil rights museum was a moving yet quite jam-packed experience. Great BBQ sandwich at Payne's. Pyramid Bass Pro Shop allows you to watch them feed the fish at 2pm for free.

Pleased with the area. Walking in the Tom Lee Park along the river, toured the Civil Rights Museum (well worth the trip), ate incredible BBQ ribs at Cozy Corner restaurant

Civil Rights museum worth a visit - a lot of information. Enjoyed a meal and the music at BB Kings on Beale Street. Give Central BBQ a miss - sour staff and mediocre food.

Memphis is a great, historic city, and home to some of the best Blues music in the world, but very edgy - even the cops say to be aware of the potential for crime.
"Our experience with the front desk staff, notably your MOD Arames, was really top notch! They were friendly, attentive, and gave us a good laugh at every interaction. Thanks for your amazing customer service in a time when that is becoming a pastime and contributing to the fun of my birthday weekend. "

"The staff here is AMAZING! Very professional and kind. The room was SO comfortable and clean. For us this location was perfect in terms of proximity to stuff in midtown. Parking easy and certainly a pool is always a bonus. This will definitely be our go-to hotel when we come to Memphis! "
"There was not a coffee machine in the room, the food in the restaurant was absolutely gross and made me sick all night, a faulty fire alarm went off evacuating everyone from the hotel. An absolute disappointment all the way around"
"Bar Hustle has great cocktails! Hustle & Dough had good bakery items and good coffee drinks! Only downside is the mini fridge in the rooms has a blue light that’s lights the whole room up in the dark ( had to unplug it to get sleep)"
"Booked a room here a day before, and the whole process was smooth! The staff was so welcoming. We had an issue with the AC in our room when we first got in, but maintenance came and fixed it within 15 minutes of us calling down to the front desk. The only thing that was a bit cheap was the towel hook in front of the shower. It was falling off and attached with glue or some sort of sticky pad."
