Stay was okay, may or may not stay in the future
The hotel was in a beautiful location, and we decided to pay the upcharge for a beach view. The room was perfectly adequate, and the staff was very friendly. We had some frustrations while staying there, however. The parking situation was very confusing, and we couldn't easily get in the building from the parking garage. My husband touched wet paint at some point and got it on his hands while trying to find a way in. We were also on the balcony for a while one day, and when we came inside, an emergency alert was going off, telling us to exit the building immediately. We had no idea since we were on the balcony. Thankfully, it wasn't life-threatening, but it could be dangerous if people can't hear the warnings. There was a ton of loud construction noise for hours on Saturday morning, though I recognize we came in the off season, which is the best time to do repairs and construction. We are not picky travelers, though this review might make it seem like we are. It was just several things that added up.
