Our hostess, Allison, was wonderful. Her hospitality was second to none. The room was quite comfortable and the grounds were beautiful with all the flowers ,herbs , and trees,in addition to the gazebo, swings and porch to enjoy the quiet nature. We would definitely recommend The Pines!!

We had a wonderful stay this weekend for our girls trip. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was very attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast included with the stay was excellent. We also splurged and had dinner served Saturday evening which was also excellent. We would definitely stay here again. Alison is a great hostess, and this is a lovely place to stay if you play golf at the Virtues Golf Club. Breakfast was delicious, and Alison treated us like royal and served us at the gazebo in the backyard! Other guests staying at this house are very friendly.

This nearly 200-year-old inn provided us a friendly and welcoming stay thanks to a hostess who understands hospitality. A great destination for a multi-day stay to visit beautiful rural Ohio. Amish country, a historic canal village, Ohio's first capital all within a nice country drive.

Alli greeted us upon arrival and couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious. Our room was decorated with care, and we both slept like babies in the comfort, peace, and quiet. Rick made a delicious breakfast with dietary restrictions in mind. It felt just like being at home with lovely new friends.

Stay here if you have an opportunity. Allison the proprietor/owner lives here also and is able to take special care of you. With delicious breakfast, very comfortable rooms and beds in an 1815 historic home decorated with beautiful antiques and modern amenities. Quiet and comfortable in a small friendly community. Surprise special dessert every night. I highly recommend it all.

Great place!

Allison was amazing. I have honestly never had such a great experience at a bed and breakfast before. She made you feel like both a guest in an inn and a guest in her house all at the same time. The room was spotless and meticulously decorated. There will definitely be a return trip! Bonus points for her cats Oreo and Pepper, they were a lovely touch. Also, the food made by her chef for dinner and her for breakfast was top notch
