The room has no refrigerator. I was not told when I checked in. I bought a lot of food and had to through them away next day as there is no refrigerator. I kept on calling the hotel manager in the ladt three days and didn't hear any call back after I left massage to the manager.

Pittsburgh historic mansion.

The Mansions is a beautifully preserved and/or renovated mansion. It is not a typical chain hotel. Each room is unique. Some of the amenities are extra, I.e. no fridge in the room unless you reserve one. Service was responsive. They were having a wedding in the main building and living room for several hours during our stay. But plenty of ways of move around without interfering. The wedding flowers were gorgeous. We have stayed there several times when visiting our student son and would highly recommend it. Centrally located. Lovely.

A great place, and very unique!

A really cool, really unique place! The room was wonderful, very large, and the place felt nicely old school, but up to date in terms of amenities and comfort. Parking is free, it's close to many things, and the experience was great. One drawback was that they were hosting a wedding the next day, so some of the lobby was removed, and there were some pre-wedding revelers who took over the bar -- but that was a minor issue.

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic stay for a family gathering to celebrate the life of our uncle. Staff was incredibly accommodating. Rooms were well appointed and clean. We all stsyed in the annex house and were able to use the common area to go thru photos and belongings without interruption.

beautiful hotel. had a private party at the bar most of the night so could not use it. the bar tender was excellent though and made us a drink to have in the lobby until the party was over. she was excellent. did not like at 10:56 am the maid was banging on our door telling us that check out is 11:00 am. very unprofessional and rude behavior from the maid. left us with a bad taste for the stay.
