Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel & Spa
"Amazing stay. Spa was very nice but the ladies changing room was a bit small for the size of the hotel and spa"
The Green House
"Very friendly and helpful staff"
Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth
"Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast lovely and staff friendly"
Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester
"Lovely place to stay, convenient for town and for visiting Dorsey County Hospital which was my main reason for visiting Dorchester."
Best Western Weymouth Hotel Rembrandt
"Our Executive room didn't feel very 'Executive ' being a bit bland but it was nice and quiet. Leisure facilities were very good. Bar drinks were very expensive. Breakfast was OK."
The Royal Lion Hotel
"The Royal Lion Hotel is a nice place to stay. It is in a very good position to explore Lyme Regis from. The staff are very nice and helpful and friendly. The food was good for me as I have some food intolerances and I could always find something tasty to eat. I hope they light the fires in the bar soon as it is getting chilly and a fire is so comforting. We had a very nice room with access to a garden and seating. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well. A lovely shower with plenty of hot water as well. I also like the traditional rooms on the upper floors as they are more in keeping with the age of the building. I hope the Royal Lion is not modernised too much. We want to stay there because of the Tradition of the building, the décor including furniture and the comfort. Please don't modernise too much. We will be back."
THE NICI Bournemouth
"All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and I really enjoyed the stay, Being able to use the spa facilities until 1pm on check out day was idea and its a very tranquil area. Only minor point is that the jacuzzi is not that warm to relax in - the jets blow cold water."
Laguna Hotel
"I really liked the vibe of Laguna hotel and would stay there again. I feel like the hospitality is from another era. If you don't mind walking a bit, there is a nice park that stretches all the way to the beach without too much walking along streets and so it was nice to have a long weekend with nice strolls instead of running up the uber bill. Walkable for restaurants as well."
Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel
"This was our second visit to this hotel. We really love the location, the breakfast buffet, and the friendly and helpful staff. Parking is a challenge, we were out all day everyday and when we returned the hotel parking lot was usually completely full. We were only able to park onsite 3 out 7 nights. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff were top notch. Everyone but one lady was very kind and welcoming."

This duration allows you to immerse yourself in the local culture, enjoy friendly interactions with residents, explore charming small-town cafes, and visit intriguing museums, all while keeping your expenses in check. With careful planning, a trip to Dorchester can be great value for money.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Dorchester, you may start by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you could find discounted hotel options as your travel date approaches. By using the Smart Shopping feature in the app, you're more likely to see comparisons of hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re informed if prices change or availability shifts, making it easier to plan your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may assist you in finding more affordable options for your stay in a Dorchester hotel. For those interested in distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised atmosphere and occasionally better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that could potentially offer you a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but thanks to Dorchester's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value to be had. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
