Clean rooms ,checking in and out was a breeze,24 hour check in and on site Property manager.Simple Clean updated rooms with comfortable mattresses
Great for a overnight stay or a weekend visit

No working keys to room, no curtains,no shower curtain, no temperature control, no cable, no hot water. Bugs everywhere...blood stained sheets....old soap bars left out to use.

could not even sleep in the room , cause the room was being remodeled the beds wasn't put together , and i was told that hotels .com overbooked , I've tried getting a refund from both Hotels.com and Soho Inn ,I ended up filling a dispute claim with my bank to get my refund .

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and recently remodeled. There was no microwave, no frig amd no hot water. We had booked for two nights. We stayd the first night and got another room elsewhere for the second night.

When I arrived, they did not have the room I had reserved, but instead pulled together a room being repaired that had a King Mattress and placed a Double mattress on the floor. The reserved room was to have 2 doubles. The TV did not work, and the sink leaked water onto the bathroom floor. The shower had no curtain, AC unit made a terrible clicking noise with the running fan. I had no other options, and nowhere to go, the Manager (new) did his best to get me something that would work. Basically, a clean bed to sleep on.

We never even got to stay there. We had a reservation but waited in the check in office for an hour while he helped another guy. It was nuts. he was out there replacing air conditioning units on the fly. If it didn't work, you knew this guy was coming...should've done that hours ago. And instead of taking 10 minutes to check us in, and then fix the AC....whatever. It was a disaster. Best Western checked us in 5 minutes.

We booked Soho Inn well in advance for a concert, expecting at minimum a clean, ready room. While photos online looked okay, the property itself appeared run-down and poorly maintained.
At check-in, it was clear the owner was unprepared. He even said he didn’t know there was a concert, despite many guests having reservations for that date. Two hours after scheduled check-in, rooms were still “not ready” or described as “rough.” We overheard multiple guests being told their rooms weren’t cleaned, and some were even seen sweeping and mopping their own rooms.
People were coming in and out complaining their AC or their keys didn’t work. The owner admitted the keys don’t match the new locks and that he has to personally let guests into their rooms.
We also saw guests return their keys and leave. We asked to see a room and were shown one in unacceptable condition: dead bugs on the floor, stained sheets, and a bathroom with thick grime, hair, and used toiletries. It clearly had not been cleaned in a long time.
The owner gave conflicting excuses and dismissed concerns by saying, “this isn’t the Ritz Carlton.” No one expects luxury, but basic cleanliness is non-negotiable.
We chose not to stay. Unfortunately, because we booked through Hotels.com, we could not get a refund. This property should not be listed—it does not meet basic standards.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was honestly shocking.
We booked this motel months in advance for a concert weekend and arrived around 4:45 PM, well after the listed 3 PM check-in time, only to find complete chaos. There was no attendant present, the posted check-in phone number did not work, and multiple guests were returning to the office complaining that their room keys did not work and that the rooms were unacceptable. Several people ended up leaving entirely while we were checking in.
The owner stated he had recently taken over the property, but instead of acknowledging how concerning the situation was, he acted as though the conditions and confusion were completely normal. He told us our room was not ready and then offered us a room that previous guests had just refused. When we entered the room, there were towels spread all over the bed, visible grime everywhere, stained towels, an extremely dirty toilet with heavy buildup and mold, and a shower with thick grime in the corners that clearly had not been cleaned in a very long time.
When we questioned the condition of the towels, he told us that if he gave us clean towels, he would have to go wash them across the street. He also responded to concerns about the room by saying, “This isn’t the Taj Mahal.”
This was completely unacceptable. More importantly, the entire situation felt disorganized, unsanitary, and unsafe. We ultimately decided to leave and find somewhere safe because this felt very wrong.

Window broke in bathroom, covered with small hand towel. Heater set to 79 and room still cold. Stained blankets. No microwave. Hot water took 20 minutes to get warm.

If not for shear exhaustion and no other option for 40 miles I would not have stayed the night. Not cute, quaint or homie. Have slept in nicer sheds.
