Shenzhen Huaqiang Plaza Hotel
"This hotel is incredible... to begin with... the reception area is on the 23rd floor!! Amazing... the staff... you couldn't ask for better personnel... === Joye Zhu === the nicest, outstanding and most professional I have ever seen... very helpful and kind all the times. The entire experience is priceless."

"The air conditioning compressor is noisy for my room."
Futian Shangri-La Shenzhen
"Lovely lobby, clean rooms, comfortable bedding, GREAT gym, cold plunge, sauna...amazing buffet breakfast, concierge was so helpful. The decor in rooms is very out dated and old but other than this - the hotel was great. I did not give it 5-stars for the old/outdated rooms but otherwise, excellent. It is also right next door to the Futian Train station which can take you to Hong Kong and elsewhere."
Holiday Inn Express Shenzhen Futian Center by IHG
"Great place for an overnight visit to Shenzhen. Good location on a quiet street near Coco Park. Will stay again."
Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen
"We absolutely loved our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen. Everything about the hotel felt carefully designed and beautifully put together, and the service was polished and professional throughout our stay. The front desk manager Jacky Zhang was exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our room preferences and requests. Since Shenzhen was our last city in China before departing, his attention made our stay feel particularly special. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and had a fantastic view, and we truly appreciated the care that went into making sure our accommodations met everything on our wish list. The excellent service continued through our departure. We were running short on time and it was raining, and the young gentleman stationed at the guest drop-off area actually went out into the rain to hail a taxi for us. We really appreciated that extra effort. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the dining room itself was beautiful and made breakfast feel like an experience rather than simply another hotel meal. From the design and comfort of the rooms to the professionalism of the staff and attention to detail, everything felt very well executed. We stayed at many wonderful hotels during our trip through China, but the Four Seasons Shenzhen was the nicest hotel of our entire trip. We left with very fond memories of our stay, and this experience will definitely make us consider Four Seasons hotels for our future travels. We would absolutely"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Shenzhen
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Shenzhen is in February, July, and December when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those wanting to experience the city's key landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to explore the city’s rich culture without breaking the bank, making it a great value for money. With its budget-friendly options, Shenzhen is ideal for those on a budget seeking to enjoy museums, art galleries, and other cultural experiences.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For travellers heading to Shenzhen, Hotels.com offers enticing options as you may discover hotel deals and last-minute offers. By checking the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section, you could find discounted hotels near your travel date, while enabling email alerts may help you stay updated on flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping comparison tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to book a well-priced last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel’s location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Shenzhen hotel. For travellers seeking a more distinctive experience, boutique hotels might offer a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could lead to a more attractive deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Shenzhen's excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
