First time to Los Angeles. Picked this hotel partly due to proximity to the airport. Location had pros and cons.
Prior to arrival, had called a couple of times to request a quiet room away from elevators, vending machines, anything noisy, particularly since we were expecting to arrive after midnight. Was dissapointed that when we arrived at 2 am, that had been given a room right adjacent to the elevators. Went back to front desk and requested a room change and got moved from top floor to 2nd floor where we were woken justca few hours later at 6 am by surrounding room noise. Not a great start after a long travel day, for our week holiday.
Requested another move. Removed our belongings to facilitate, got moved back to the top floor.
Rest of our stay was fine. Breakfast buffet each morning was good. Good variety and constantly replenished.
Vehicle parking expensive.
Had an issue with a misunderstanding with hotel fees that was resolved after taliking to the "right" person.
Surprised by the inconsistency in quality and friendliness of service provided, particularly for a Hyatt.
All that being said, would stay again.
