Lovely hotel and very well situated. Ample parking and right on the beach. Check in was swift and efficient. Check in is not until 3pm so you should be aware that if you turn up before this, you will be turned away. The hotel room was lovely, albeit a little dated. The views of the sea were phenomenal. Staff were really helpful and I dealt with a lady called Lilly who went over and above to ensure I got back from the restaurant on my own, safely.
My only gripe was how noisy the hotel was in the morning with people talking loudly outside the room and crashing doors and cupboards. That was a real shame but it wouldn’t stop me staying here again. Perhaps next time, I will bring earplugs

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room104 which was very comfortable and with a lovely outlook. Staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. Food was good. Would describe The Falmouth as " faded elegance". We understand that the new owners will be investing considerable time and funds into updating the premises which, if done sympathetically in line with the hotels' Victorian heritage, will be wonderful. Please retain the historical Victorian splendour. Thak you.

Lovely hotel & nice location but the room was crazy small. Booked a twin & no enough room to seperate the two singles. Could only just open the suite cases & had to jump over them to move around the room.

One night stay
Room was a "compact double" but was a good size for a couple with a very comfortable bed. Shower however we could not get to work and the cooked breakfast was poor. Advised it was cooked to order but it wasn't. Had to wait ages and when it did arrive was all dried out and not edible.

Nice ish trip
Very dated but good old school hotel
Unfortunately when problems reported with room (tv and light bulbs gone) totally ignored
Waitresses forgetting orders, wrong orders turning up etc
What makes up for it is fantastic views and great room

Overall the hotel itself is exceptionally clean warm and cosy. Its location is right on the front overlooking the sea. Enjoyed having a cream tea in the front garden with a seaview.
The only bad thing was, when we were seated by staff for breakfast, it was a full half hour later before our order was taken and the dining room wasn't at all busy.
