incompetent clerk and new manager !
I have stayed here at least 20 times in the last 2-3 years for work. No problems. On my last stay the night clerk was really incompetent. I already paid for my room. He processed one night and cancelled the other 5 nights. Didnt say a word. Next night i get back from work at 9:30. The key doesnt work, go to the front desk. the same clerk tells me i dont have a reservation! Tries to gaslight me! tells me to go to another hotel. He wont answer the phone when Hotels.com calls to help. i have Hotels.com on speaker trying to talk to him. he finally starts listening because he realizes i am not going anywhere. he fixes it with their help. It’s after 10 pm. The NEW manager is doesnt care. I explain to him what happened to me. Told him he really needs to train the night clerk and to have an emergency # to call if there is a problem. The NEW manager gives me a little refund I complete my stay of 6 plus nights. Next month when i come back. The same incompetent clerk says iam on a no rent list!!! The new manager pit me on a no rent list! I was not mean or hostile. That stay i had a paid for reservation!! The incompetent clerk to me to go elsewhere?? when i paid and stayed the previous night! So probably the new incompetent manager feeling threatened because i told him how terrible the clerk was or there is something inappropriate going on here. Those two seemed too friendly. Why would you keep an incompetent employee kicking out paid in full customer for a 6 night stay??
