My recent stay at Hotel Bellini left much to be desired. Despite our pre-arrival request for a room on the first floor, which was confirmed by the concierge, we were allocated a small room on the second floor upon arrival. This discrepancy in accommodation was a disappointing start to our stay, setting the tone for what was to come.
The overall service at Hotel Bellini was frustratingly slow. Whether it was waiting for assistance at the front desk or for our meals to be served, it seemed like time moved at a glacial pace within the confines of this establishment.
To add insult to injury, the quality of the food was abysmal. Even simple items like croissants, which one would expect to be a staple of a decent breakfast, were burnt to a crisp. Our breakfast experience was further marred by having to send back our eggs not once, but twice, due to them being improperly prepared.
What's particularly disheartening is that we had stayed at Hotel Bellini the year prior and did not encounter such dismal service and culinary mishaps. It's evident that there has been a significant decline in the standards of this establishment since our last visit.
Overall, our experience at Hotel Bellini was a far cry from satisfactory. From the failure to fulfill our room request to the unpalatable dining options, it's safe to say that we won't be returning anytime soon.
